First things first… Why do you need CBD? 

It should be noted that doing things with intention can qualitatively change their effect. Being conscious of the foods we eat affects how we digest and assimilate it, and CBD is no different. Clarify why you want to buy CBD, and how and when you use our products will become more clear. Awareness sets the stage, increasing the chance for a positive outcome, so try to get as specific as you can about the ways that CBD can personally help you.

Next, how does CBD work? 

As you clarify your intentions, it is good to think of how your body uses CBD. 

CBD attaches to CB1 and 2 receptors, which are located throughout your entire body, as part of your Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS is responsible for ensuring all of the systems of the body are in harmony, maintaining homeostasis, and CBD links into these receptors wherever the body decides it needs it most.

Consider how you do things: sleeping and eating patterns, water intake, energy levels. All of these factors can help to clarify ways you are helping our hindering your ECS. 

Determine your dosage. 

The dosages are based on size/weight. 

All dosages below are great places to start. Pick a number anywhere within (but not above) your box and increase as much as you feel necessary. Start low and go slow.

• For pet or animal use, we suggest 'Pure' to measure by the drop!
• Do not exceed 1000 mg per day.

Frequency: How to start once you’ve determined symptoms and dosage.

• Start low and increase incrementally. It is not recommended to exceed 1000mg per day.  
• Consider breaking up or increasing your dose by frequency, instead of all at once. 
• Take a smaller amount as your regular intake and larger amounts when needed. 
• Pick a schedule that you will stick to and that aligns with your intention for taking CBD.
• Consider the first two weeks as an introduction. Everyone is different, so see how you feel and adjust freely. Consider the dosage amount, your intake schedule or how you apply the product. 

Personal Application: our products are multi-use and mixable. 

Edible

Eating or drinking is a more gentle way to ingest CBD. It takes longer to absorb, as it has to go through the digestive tract. It is a great way to start, if you are trying for the first time. When taken this way, it is in direct contact with your digestive organs, and is like a topical for the digestive tract in this way. 

Sublingual

Sublingual is the fastest and most bioavailable method of application. It provides quicker absorption as it directly gets absorbed into the blood stream. Both 'Golden' and 'Pure' can be absorbed under the tongue. 

Topical

Use 'Pure' directly on muscles and joints. This ensures localized absorption into the skin. Topical use is often well received when specific areas  of the body need attention. 

 * 'Pure' tincture is versatile and strong enough to measure by the drop or dropper! No greasy mess here!

* For cuts and burns, 'Golden' works as an antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial. Apply directly to injury and cover with sterile gauze or a bandage to keep clean. Gently wash off after 12-24 hours and reapply 'Golden' if needed.

Pet Friendly

'Pure' is 5mg per drop, so you can measure easily for your little ones to prevent over usage.

Diluting our product in is best when introducing into your pet's diet.  

For sublingual application: dilute in ½ teaspoon of water or oil (hemp seed is best). Use a dropper and place oil directly under the tongue or on their gums and palette.

 

What happens if it affects me differently than expected? 

CBD is most effective when it is taken regularly over a long period of time. It has a bi-directional effect on the body, which means that sometimes we get a different effect than we anticipate. Trust that your body is doing what it needs. Take it at the time of day that best works with what is happening, and see what happens over time.
